The Northeast Ohio community of the STC welcomes advertisers.
We'll place qualifying ads on just about any of our web pages, and link to your web site.
Here are some of those qualifications:
We cannot make endorsements. The ad must not present, nor give the appearance of, a conflict of interest.
An "advertisement" label will appear above or near your ad.
Ads may not appear on our community home page, nor at the top nor left-center of any other web page.
Ads require pre-payment by check and a written contract signed by the advertiser and then-president of our community.
That contract will specify at least the nature, duration, fee, and payment schedule of the ad, and an indemnity clause.
The ad must be provided by the advertiser, published by our web committee, and meet our ethics, decency, and style standards,
including those outlined in STC administrative document #Ad-95-02.
No ad contract shall last less than a month, nor will its fee be based on number of views (CPM) or click-throughs, for administrative simplification.
Ads must be germane to our membership and to the audience of the web page.
Ads are subject to a "first-come, first-served" policy: we reserve the right to limit ads to one per web page.
The web address (if any) you'd like the ad to link to
The web address of the page(s) on which you'd like the ad to run
Your name, organization name (if applicable), full snail-mailing address, and telephone number
Watch for a reply from our community President or webmaster approving the ad, including a contract to sign.
Sign the contract and return it with your payment by check to the address given on the contract.
You'll be notified when the ad begins its run.

Rate card
$50 per 90-day period for an ad 120 pixels wide by 120 pixels high
$75 per 90-day period for an ad 120 pixels wide by 240 pixels high (see example at the right)
Rates are subject to change.
To justify rates, a member of our Web Committee can forwardweb traffic statistics to the prospective advertiser; however,
we cannot guarantee that your ad will meet expectations or goals, particularly in terms of number of page views or revenue generated.
Technical specifications
File formats: GIF- and JPEG-format images are permitted. Inline frames (iframes) and rich media (e.g.: Java, ECMAScript (JavaScript), ActiveX controls, or Flash) are not currently supported.
Text-only ads are not currently supported, but you can create an image consisting only of text.
Annoying or gaudy animations or visual effects are not permitted.
File size may not exceed 30 KB. The smaller the file size, the more likely your ad will be seen.
