I am currently looking for part time work (less than 20 hours per week) on a 1099 contract basis. Would like to work in Adobe Framemaker or have an opportunity to expand skills with a tool such as Author-it.

• Online help for accounting and auditing support software. Work produced in RoboHelp Enterprise, a proprietary in-house tool, and Microsoft Word.
• Manuals and marketing collateral for Rockwell Software’s RSTestStand test stand emulation software, including Web pages. Manuals produced in Adobe Framemaker, marketing collateral in Microsoft Word, and Web pages in Allaire Homesite.
• Manuals, online help, PDF files, and Web pages for Rockwell Sofware’s RBBizWare Batch software, which controls batch processing equipment. Manuals produced in Adobe Framemaker, drawings edited in Visio, and Web pages created in Allaire Homesite.
• Manuals for microprocessor-based industrial control equipment, including motor drives, web guiding, combustion control, and automotive fastening systems. Work done for Reliance Electric, North American Manufacturing Company, and Hickock Electrical Instruments. Manuals created in Ventura, Interleaf, Pagemaker, and Adobe Framemaker.
• Installation and operating instructions for vibration and transformer monitoring software and hardware.
• Hard copy manuals and online help for in-house systems support procedures

• Successful response to a military RFP for a tracked vehicle heater.

Wrote instruction manuals; assembly, calibration, and test procedures; and sales literature for combustion control, web guiding, and strip guiding products. Handled press releases and mass mailings. Performed various marketing research duties as required, using government data, CompuServe’s Iquest, and other sources. Analyzed product sales to help standardize product line. Maintained customer mailing database.
